No, Marianne, that is not it. It’s because people who have spent their careers working on whistleblower rights care about *outcomes* — about ending persecution — and nobody thinks there’s any chance Trump will pardon her. The ones to pressure to pardon RW are Biden and Harris.

Her erasure from the larger conversation preceded the current efforts for a pardon. Isn’t that part of *why* there’s no chance?

I could understand if Snowden had just told Americans they were being spied on, but he gave classified info to hostile countries. The @ACLU thinks that's okay?

You are right because Julian Assange and Edward Snowden are likely to be pardoned soon.

Jesus Christ Marianne doing whatever she can to muddy the waters and prevent an assange and Snowden pardon because nothing is worse to her than being wrong about Trump. Even in the slightest

THANKS for this. But, misogyny? Republicans have kept #RealityWinner in prison 4 years. Our government has kept #LeonardPeltier in prison 44 years; check with @PeltierHQ. They both embarrassed the rich and powerful. Blame kakistocracy before misogyny. 🇺🇸 amnestyusa.org/press-release…
I have written to her in prison, and she wrote back to me. What a lovely young lady she is. Joe Biden is going to pardon her immediately, I just know it.

That, and let's be honest, a lot of people think she's by far the "craziest" of all. I, with no proof whatsoever, suspect mauvaise foi within the bowels of The Intercept; or the interception of The Intercept by outside forces but with some ever so slight connivance from within.
