The power that’s going to rise up to defeat the insanity in our midst is not based on one’s color or religion or ethnicity or socio-economic status or sexuality or side of the political spectrum. It’s the power of conscience and dignity and decency and love.

I think you should review Tolle a bit closer. One way to do that is to consider Maslow's Heirarchy of Needs - not as perfect dogma but as psychologically telling. Another way is to consider Tolle's shortcomings in this domain:

3/3 It's precisely the why of our starvation for the sacred that provides clues as to the path forward. It cannot simply be done via what M. Williamson suggests as a practical matter. Your point is not meritless it's just, as was what I responded to, incomplete.

And, I think the data supports what you've said here. So, I hope I'm not criticizing your mention of Tolle. A spiritual man to be certain. But, it's time to forge with the Smithy of our souls, to paraphrase Joyce, the steel necessary to tear down division of color & economic $$$

2/2 It's no longer adequate to cultivate our us & change the world via kindness & decency. Heavy lifting is required ie Bidens absurd refusal to consider M4all & now signaling Trump's cabal should not be prosecuted if they've done wrong. Pelosi & Schumer similarly blind.
Tell that to the more than 11,000,000 children that go hungry in the USA every damn day, seven days a week. And you're suggesting my expectations are not to be met & I might end up disappointed... Good. Bye.
