One reason we’re losing our democracy is that too many keep making a purely political argument when the problem is a philosophical one. What we think of as “the issues” reflect an underlying issue: our govt isn’t even trying to be “of the people, by the people & for the people.”

My Congressman, Joe Cunningham, won in 2018. A week later he was fundraising for 2020. He ended up loosing during this election. Politicians spend a majority of their time fundraising and this prevents them from solving constituent issues. Take the Big $ out! The game must change

We have always been a government of special interests. That is why we NEED term limits on Congress. That reform will bring us closest to the philosophical ideal. “Bosses of Senate” true then and now.

The problem is this... The Media lies to the people -> (The People) <- The Politicians lie to the people. The Ultra rich run out the backdoor with all the money. While the average citizen either gave up or sincerely dont care because they believe the government hates them.
