One reason we’re losing our democracy is that too many keep making a purely political argument when the problem is a philosophical one. What we think of as “the issues” reflect an underlying issue: our govt isn’t even trying to be “of the people, by the people & for the people.”

the reason we're losing it is big tech, fake news media, the postal service, etc. have conspired together with the democrats to fix the system so they never lose again, and many states are suing. legislature writes election law!

I’m still hopeful that people will awaken. The spirit is present.

We need to get away from treating politics and elections as a team sport, and get back to treating them as job interviews. If I need my plumbing fixed, as a Steelers fan, I am not going to avoid the best plumber if they are a Bengals fan.

Because apparently lots of people think they are more equal than others, they want to run things for everybody. And, for too long, we just let them.

Another reason is the incessant propaganda from the alphabet soup of media organizations that you seem to buy into hook, line and sinker.
