What’s the goal of a tweet like this from an influential person?
Dissent? Dissatisfaction? Venting?
I’ve seen more criticism for criticism sake of Biden’s picks than optimism for what they will and may be able to accomplish by some who claim to be exhausted by the past 4yrs.
Austin got on TV today to do damage control, insists he admires the wisdom of civilian control. I don't doubt his sincerity. It's just that he can't KNOW that wisdom because it hasn't been his experience. Congress just passes laws now & then says "Oh, we're gonna ignore that one"

Absolutely not! I have spoken well of picks Yellen, Blinken, Mayorkas, Becerra. This is nothing personal. This is not about whether people are “nice.” Reagan was “nice.” Bush was “nice.” These choices matter!

Thanks for responding but I think you missed my point. Your one tweet is one in a litany of more critical tweets that seem to be critical just to be. For example, if you think Austin isn’t a good fit for the role because of the waiver issue, then okay. But no one has clearly said

I’ve made it very clear why I’m concerned. I haven’t failed to communicate that at all.
