This is an *excellent* pick by Joe Biden. Tai is well-respected and deeply knowledgeable. She's much more moderate than I am, but she knows how to do the job and will do it well. (USTR is one of six key positions I'm following.)

I made it very clear my support for Biden was in order to interrupt the Trump freefall of our democracy. I said I would be the first person to yell loudly about any choices I felt were unwise, and I’m staying true to my word.
