It's important we all familiarize ourselves with these picks, both those we agree with and those we don't. Our entire conception of citizenship needs to change now, from "someone else is handling it" to "all of us participate with our opinions."
This is an *excellent* pick by Joe Biden. Tai is well-respected and deeply knowledgeable. She's much more moderate than I am, but she knows how to do the job and will do it well. (USTR is one of six key positions I'm following.)

I made it very clear my support for Biden was in order to interrupt the Trump freefall of our democracy. I said I would be the first person to yell loudly about any choices I felt were unwise, and I鈥檓 staying true to my word.

I agree ... we need to wake up and get involved ... In relation to Tai ... It sounds like she's good at her job and has lots of experience ... but I couldn't find out anything (so far) about her Politics.

The Founders made it a representative democracy for a reason. God knows it鈥檚 not perfect but after what we saw over the last four years, their fear of mob rule could become a reality.
