Memo: we can’t fight our way to peace. At the rate we’re going, some unbelievable global catastrophe is going to happen - most probably nuclear - and then Americans are going to say “How could this possibly have happened?!?” as though we’d seriously done enough to avoid it. #Sad

That's EXACTLY what happened with Covid. It was obvious to anyone paying attention that taking away the preventative measures that monitor early stage pandemics was going to be a recipe for disaster. Trump admin either cut the funding or removed the people from those roles.
