I'm hopeful for developing a vaccine, medicine, PPE etc. as much as anyone but it makes me uncomfortable how resistant officialdom is to even discussing boosting the immune system through vitamins etc. Edging out anything but pharmaceutical formulation is wrong-minded & obsolete

I don’t think we can boost our immune systems to gain immunity. Having a boosted immune system may help give someone a better chance but athletic healthy ppl have passed from Covid.

Absolutely! I’m not suggesting either/or. It’s bith/and!

The immune system is incredibly complex and has many overlapping cytokine pathways. Viruses and malignant cells know this and alter host immunity to their benefit. Vitamins and diet support the immune system but they do not prevent infection or disease.

Consider how @DetHealth has allowed #WaterShutoffs during a #HepAOutbreak in Detroit. The shutoffs were proclaimed a "tool for debt collection". Shutoffs are an #ActOfWar. Now we get a 2 year moratorium as #ElectionWindowDressing by the mayor. #Malfeasance isn't acceptable!

Herbs, vitamins, and especially diet are great prevention and strengthening; Western medicine’s real value is for when the house is burning down. BOTH are important in different ways. It IS too bad that the western medical system refuses to acknowledge this.

Haha. You obviously know nothing about vitamins. why do people who are not experts in the professional field, feel the need to speak publically on it. We may as well ask Steve the Hackney market stall holder for his opinion.

With a post like this, you should also point out how corrupt the Vitamin/Supplement industry is, with zero regulation. The QUALITY of the vitamins you take is important. Trader Joes brand of Vitamins aren't doing much for you, very little active vitamin and lots of fillers.

The leading causes of death remains the same for the past 100 years. Big Pharma & allopathic medicine are not proving to be the answer to chronic diseases. Dr. Mark Hyman is the Head of Strategy and Innovation of the Cleveland Clinic Center for Functional Medicine. #Food #Soil👇🏼

I am surprised by your response. Maybe I misunderstood when you called her kooky. This was the narrative used during her presidential campaign. Anti science etc. I was only trying to explain that what she said is being supported by others in the medical community.

No problem. It was just a misunderstanding.
