The military knows how to wage war, and I respect that. But those who know how to wage peace should be given equal respect - and equal funding. Then we will be able to save the world.

I usually agree with you but I have to say I don't respect the military's ability to wage war, mostly because the military sees war as the solution to the problems in the world. I'd respect it more if it's budget was cut by 50 percent.

The world doesn't need us to save it, it needs us to stop looting it for it's resources under the guise of "freedom". The military is literally the arm of imperialism, it deserves no respect.
