The military knows how to wage war, and I respect that. But those who know how to wage peace should be given equal respect - and equal funding. Then we will be able to save the world.

When these 4 factors are present, there will statistically be more peace & less conflict in an area: expanded economic opportunities for women & educational opportunities for kids; reduced violence against women; and the amelioration of human despair. That's how you wage peace.

I said fund the military, but it should be at the rate the military says it needs - not the hundreds of billions on top of that which the mic just wants for short term profit maximization.
