School bus drivers need to be paid more as well. Maybe because there's more women doing it, the pay is artificially low! It's a big responsibility with all those lives in your hand. If people can make ends meet hauling trash, folks should be able to do it he same hauling kids!

Majoring in early childhood education ranks at the bottom of the income scale - same as if you didn't go to college and didn't get a degree. Shows you how much the mindset about the importance of early childhood development needs to change society wide.
