Imagine what America would be like now if every adult knew they’d be getting $2k/mo (retroactively to when the pandemic began) & $1k for every child. Imagine how much panic, suicidal despair, domestic conflict & hunger would fall away. And be clear: we have the money to do that.

Maybe Democrats should have done that under Pelosi. But did NOT. So corrupt and gave money to their special interests. Big huge bucks going to all their cronies. And to themselves of course. Business as usual in the USA. Anyone that stands in their way vilified.

Who is going to pay for this. Yea it would be lovely but the hard working people will have to face another challenge later with increased taxes to pay for this. I don’t know why everyone thinks there is a never ending flow of cash to spend. There isn’t.

In Canada, if you lost your job or were laid off because of the pandemic you got $2000 per month. Apply online, if you were set up for direct deposit you'd have money the next day or they could send it by mail & you'd have it within 1 week. Easy.
