Imagine what America would be like now if every adult knew they’d be getting $2k/mo (retroactively to when the pandemic began) & $1k for every child. Imagine how much panic, suicidal despair, domestic conflict & hunger would fall away. And be clear: we have the money to do that.

It would be AMAZING! Some of us are months behind in rent & utilities (since they never put a freeze or forgiveness on it). Others had hours or pay slashed by 20-50% due to covid. We HAVE the money. But right now the CEOs & Billionaires get a ridiculous amount in subsidies. (1/3]

Instead of giving to main Street, they give it to Wall Street. There are millions of Americans that fall into the portion that doesn't qualify for gov't assistance & therefore get NOTHING. All while the top earners are eligible for billions & trillions in gov't assistance (2/3)

In the form of subsidoes and other tax cuts & credits. And then they give scraps to those living near, at & below poverty level. Why is there a poverty to begin with? As a civilization, we should be set up w/basic minimums in shelter, food, mental & physical healthcare. (3/3)

Galloway: the problem is that the Feds decided to spend trillions saving companies rather than people. If families got Fed funding they would spend it on housing & necessities. No guarantee of trickle down by companies. We’re all fighting over the crumbs marketplace.org/2020/11/24/c…

If in the beginning we would have guaranteed businesses payroll and in turn guaranteed workers their pay check we could have closed the economy completely for a month or two and been in a totally different place

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING! No economy if you do not keep buying! 70% of the economy is dependent on you! They are not going to help if purchases especially for XMAS are continuing to keep them on top.

MW, Omar's husband received $635,00 covid 19 "bailout" money. Wouldn't it be nice if all small businesses that actually serve the public could receive $635,000. Too much money laundering in Congress. The paybacks are public knowledge & should be investigated. FBI not trusted.
