What Republicans call “far left” policies like universal healthcare and free college tuition are considered middle of the road mainstream positions in most of Europe. How tragic that people have been convinced that they deserve so little by the very people who are taking so much.

I’m not taking anything from anyone. I work 70+ hours a week. But I believe that people should pay for their own healthcare. And if you took a student loan then you are responsible for paying it back. Why is it my responsibility to pay for your healthcare and student loan?

Do you have a college degree Marianne? One of the problems with free tuition it seems is that the curriculum will be dictated by bureaucrats. Would you have been able to choose your major? Would any of the people you may mentor or advise...if it was dictated by the state?

Politicians already know how people can go to college and possibly have pay for less than 30% of the credits. None of you talk about it and now want to tax us more for something already available. This is how RIGHT NOW ppl can do this.
