What Republicans call “far left” policies like universal healthcare and free college tuition are considered middle of the road mainstream positions in most of Europe. How tragic that people have been convinced that they deserve so little by the very people who are taking so much.

1. Why are pols and others always looking at other countries, as if we all should care? 2. Why am I interested in the freedoms and personal responsibilities sacrificed by people in other countries, who until today, have wanted to be Americans?

What do you mean “taking so much”? Who are they taking from?

These things are common throughout Europe because They come from a culture of being subjects & serfs, ruled by Lords & magistrates, content to be handed back a pittance for their livelihoods. Such an arrangement is anathema to Americanism. We should embrace that & work within it

Stop. You know as well as anyone else that’s paying attention, The Democratic Party sides WITH the GOP on these policies. Question is: WHY are YOU carrying water for the Dems, what exactly are you getting out of all this? Isn’t honesty important to you????
