What Republicans call “far left” policies like universal healthcare and free college tuition are considered middle of the road mainstream positions in most of Europe. How tragic that people have been convinced that they deserve so little by the very people who are taking so much.

Affordable college tuition is much better than free college tuition. Students get more out of the experience when they have something invested in the process. Higher education should be different than K-12.

Repubs are effective at parroting clear, consistent messaging utilizing keywords no matter how flawed, contradictory or untrue. SOCIALIST, EXTREME, RADICAL LIBERAL, MARXIST, ANTISEMITE. Dems should take note & pin down repubs on “defunding education” & better messaging in general

What's tragic is that we pay taxes for a government that can't even deliver the aid we desperately need. When the rich bribe politicians, they get a return on investment. Where's our return as taxpayers? BTW, its not a handout if you've invested in the system 😤

I wish you had been asked to serve as advisor in this new administration. 😏
