The meaning of something lies in whatever purpose we ascribe to it. Either the purpose of our govt is to serve its citizens or to serve the short term corporate profits of its donor class. The pernicious lie of the last 40 yrs is that the latter is really the former. But it's not

Yep - its all in the framing, and whomever owns the frame wins the game. Humans are far too easy to manipulate - making meaning and sticking it to ideas to make falsehoods that are none-the-less ‘a view’ of people/events. Scarily easy.
