In order to stave off a Trump phenomenon that will continue to assault our democracy regardless what happens to Trump himself, Biden will need to reverse not only the chaotic & crazy disaster of the last 4 years but also the more polite but no less crazy disaster of the last 40.

It is wrong to imprison healthy people to assuage the paranoia of a few.
Those who did not take prudent precautions. I take precautions I deem prudent. I expect others to do the same, to protect themselves. I do not propose to force another to act according to my values or beliefs.
If you're concerned about becoming infected, minimize your contact with others. Don't force strangers to isolate themselves, against their will.
And so they choose to take the risk. That is their right. Stay away from them.
Then restrict access to high risk populations.

We have a responsibility to leave people the hell alone.

Not building "herd immunity" in those not vulnerable, so there are fewer disease vectors? THAT is the way to minimize the spread, in the long run.
No. We only have a duty to not harm. If Joe is not infected, there is no way that he can infect someone. There is no way he can infect someone.
I remain unconvinced, and will advocate for liberty. The mortality rate is too low to justify the draconian measures we have seen.
