Amazon workers are organizing a global strike. I so hope they succeed.
Amazon reported revenue of $96.1 billion just last quarter amid a pandemic-era boom. Warehouse workers in the U.S. and U.K., meanwhile, have been offered a $300 holiday bonus, and many employees will receive far less, if anything at all. interc.pt/36JUN8Y

Are the current wages and benefits not commensurate with market for these relatively low-skilled jobs? It's good for companies to take care of labor when revenues are booming, but it typically isn't an entitlement - not exactly a great job market to strike...

Global organizing would be the 21st-century solution to multinational plutocracies. They try to union bust, other parts shut down.

Long over due...I hope they succeed in every aspect of exercising thier rights as a citizen of our states united. May they please stand in solidarity to get better wages, healthcare that doesn't come out of their monthly/weekly wages. Also may they please form a Labor Union !

Pretty sad when labour means almost nothing, and capital means almost everything. Get rid of all that labour and see where you're at.

Wouldn’t we all feel better if amazon was taxed appropriately????? Biden needs to collect some cash.

Oh Me TOO! please! I heard all the Truckers were planning to strike. Would be the perfect time of year. Our Big Wigs in this Country don’t realize how important the Truck Drivers are. They provide goods across the nation.

I hope not. Hardly appropriate, no matter justified, during a pandemic.

Since the Democrats shut down all of the small businesses, will only get to shop a Walmart now?
