What we’re going through socially, politically and economically is so huge that only artists and poets can adequately convey it. The news media can report the news but for the most part now seems incapable of deciphering its meaning.

But the (Austrian) economist can properly identify the cause and the solution, whereas the artist or poet will, in all likelihood, misidentify the cause and then prescribe more of the actual cause as the solution.
