Not only are people in DC out of touch with the suffering of everyday Americans; they’re out of touch with the rage they’re creating among them. Last time millions expressed their rage by electing the worst possible person to fix it. No one should assume they couldn’t do worse.

This is true, you are correct. However, though hopeless, I recalled that historically these oligarchic “so called democracies” have a short life span and the income inequality persistent at such an exaggerated level cannot sustain. It’s the stuff that ends empires.
