What is their resistance to #DirectCashRelief??? Other governments are doing it. It isn’t charity, it’s just responsible governance during an emergency. No time for all the middle measures when people and their kids are hungry. washingtonpost.com/us-policy…

Exactly. I'd also like to see them confronted by small business owners. They're always talking about how important small businesses are and how they're the backbone of the economy, and yet they don't want to pass a bill to make sure they have customers with money to spend??

Its Battle pay, pure and simple. They call it a "war" yet they don't want to pay the people on the front lines for risking their lives and livelihoods to combat it. Cowards.

they need to separate out the bill and get money out to #smallbiz and #unemployed THIS WK!!! STAT.
The capitalists are doing better during the pandemic. They have little incentive to offer more than a mere pittance. There is no availing capitalist valuation for life. If anything, people can be inconveniences. A $600 buyout might do it. Definitely not an availing valuation. 🤮
