Almost 250 yrs of slavery plus almost 100 yrs of segregation leaves Black America with a lot more than a need for charity, an apology or “race-based policies.” It leaves them with an IOU in their hands that America has yet to pay. #WhyReparations

What? Every immigrant family went thru being the low man on the totem pole. It was the evolution of things, people, mankind. Nothing is owed anyone. We each create our own reality whether we are aware of it or not.

America will never make amends for the centuries of brutalized colonialism and imperialism until it recognizes capitalism is a failed and racist ideology. Only until we truly start caring for one another can those debts be paid back.
