Everyone psychoanalyzing Trump & wondering what mental diagnosis historians will give him. But a larger point is the pathology of the culture that gave rise to him: a money obsessed political system that made the outsized businessman a false god. Correct that or he will reappear.

I’d characterize a subset of cultural pathology as a working class that accepts its own subjugation and the subjugation of others as long as they don’t see themselves on the bottom of the pyramid. They idolize whatever they perceive to be as the top of the pyramid.

Amen! Perhaps, correction & instruction need to begin with confessions & repentance of the "People of God" that is nevertheless supporting, rather than rejecting the ungodly counsel & pathology of Trump... whose behaviors completely contradict the character of Spirit & Truth!

Isn't this the inevitable progression of capitalism? Where everything's for sale, even influence (lobbyists)? Most bad things are a symptom of a problem. We need to identify the problem. Are the problems features within the system or are they bugs?
