Everyone psychoanalyzing Trump & wondering what mental diagnosis historians will give him. But a larger point is the pathology of the culture that gave rise to him: a money obsessed political system that made the outsized businessman a false god. Correct that or he will reappear.

I fully agree, but at the same time I don't think the existing 2 party system will be able to cleanse from within. Its rotten till the core. Big money rules and knows that everything and everyone is for sale. There is no moral dignity left in the system.

In order for him to reappear, he must first disappear. I’m not confident that will happen!

Excellent point. I don't think he will ever escape the malignant narcissist label & 2020 happened & the pandemic mismanaged as the macrocosm of his sick- ness. The enablers, Mitch & Barr, principally, facilitated the double down nightmare we will see through spring.
Totally agree. Trump took advantage (whether by design or mistake) of a system. He is not unique, so someone like him will do this again. He has laid the groundwork for it to be normal. This needs a multi-generational solution.
