Is the best way to push Biden in a less corporatist & more humanitarian direction to stay within the Democratic Party in exchange for perceived (or imaginary) access, or to form another party that could actually threaten the citadels? Not saying I know the answer; I’m just asking

Become all and only about issues and fight good fights locally. This reduces the ugly contributions of the issueless & mindless partisans.

Wanna change the foundation of corporate dominance in America and the world, it's starts with education, and not the BS we were fed that got us here

It's a debate I have with myself. Will they listen to me more if I say I'm a registered Democrat or if I say I'm a left-leaning Independent? Or is it all moot because I'm not handing them wads of cash while giving my opinion?

Well, please think about it and tell us. I’m actually very angry at not fitting in...so disappointed in the Democratic Establishment.

It's been tried. Occasionally there's some kind of win. Some of the most notable were people who apparently had hidden agendas but were notable enough to force a compromise with the power brokers. I'm not saying it's the way to go. Common sense platforms don't seem to work

We’ve tried from within. The last significant wave of constitutional change was a progressive democratic wave—income tax, the direct election of Senators, suffrage for women—when there was a third party threat. The Populists were coopted, but their very existence pushed reform.

I don't know the answer either, but the facts strongly suggest that the duopoly isn't working on many levels and a multi-party system would enable more proportional representation.

well if donald can do whatever he did to the republican party in four years, i’m sure biden COULD move the party left by force if he wanted, but he doesn’t. Trump presidency led to tons of trump Rs around the country, and a bernie near presidency led to many demsoc’s in office.

There are only two parties work within it and promote the Elizebeth Warren’s and AOC and work to get more of them. But dark money in politics it the evil that keeps on eviling
