Is the best way to push Biden in a less corporatist & more humanitarian direction to stay within the Democratic Party in exchange for perceived (or imaginary) access, or to form another party that could actually threaten the citadels? Not saying I know the answer; I’m just asking

The time is probably ripe for a third party candidate who is economically populist and socially moderate (no CRT etc). There’s probably a path whereby hijacking the party from within is possible but it’s likely a very distasteful authoritarian leaning mirror image of Trump.

The Democratic Party is still committed to a neoliberal economic system where the rich get richer and the rest of us suffer. It is time for a change. We need a real progressive party, not bound to the corporate interests. You know this in your heart.

I'm not sure but it seems like, because of money, the most effective way is to work within the system. I would like to see ranked choice voting and a change in laws so that a candidate can only put their name on the ballot if they reach certain mental and financial standards.

6 decades of domination of both political parties by the Military Industrial Complex should provide some general guidance.

Over the Democrats tbh, time for a new party

You only need to look north to Canada to find the answer. It's been going on there for decades.

The biggest accomplishment of the Republican Party over the last forty years is to make Democrats feel that their values, policies and programs are not worth fighting for and that Republicans will always fight for theirs.

Biden won’t be pushed left. Hopefully you see that now, after Neera Tanden’s name has been floated for a Cabinet position. The minor parties must coalesce as a broad anti-establishment (and anti war) coalition.
Party politics has been sold down the toilet. I don't know how this thing hashes out, but there's no place for humane politics. Not with the neolibs in the way.
