Is the best way to push Biden in a less corporatist & more humanitarian direction to stay within the Democratic Party in exchange for perceived (or imaginary) access, or to form another party that could actually threaten the citadels? Not saying I know the answer; I’m just asking

As someone who supported John Anderson, Ralph Nader, Ross Perot, and wrote in Bernie in 2016, I can honestly say our current structure is very two-party biased.

I'm thinking that you don't. No matter what happens, the DNC always seems to take it as confirmation that they're right.

I feel like we need to start building a socialist party. The Democratic Party wouldn’t have to worry about losing “the moderates” and the socialists could push for real solutions and start implementing revolutionary change from below, ahead of the government.

Another reform party is surely needed but it seems it would take a figure as charismatic as Trump to make it happen (hopefully of course with more enlightened policies)

Step around the obstacle and utilize mechanisms like ranked choice voting. The current mechanisms give the RNC & DNC too much control on who the candidates even are. Funding elections & killing super PACS would also help.

Sounds like you already know the answer. Today’s Democratic Party is not the working man’s party that I grew up with and it continues to move further and further away from that. At this point we need a new way to challenge their power because what we have been doing isn’t working

Until we have a better system of voting, it absolutely, positively, mathematically is not the second thing.

Our choice now: Wall Street Criminals v Wall Street Enablers ==== Iow ~ Harlem Globetrotters v Washington Generals ==== IOW ~ A Duopoly with minimal 'market penetration' (60pc of potential voters?) ==== A 'new party' needs charisma: ask 1856 Rep candidate Calhoun. Need a Lincoln!

Both parties should split. Duopoly bad. Campaign reform needs to happen to limit spending and length of campaign time. (Elected officials should have time to do the job they were elected to do.)

It's not rocket science. Your faux naivete looks silly...
