There are ppl that will kill US citizens and use bio weapons if they could. I know you super leftist think we really don't have enemies, false. We almost get attack often you don't hear about it. Defense cost money, soldiers/sailors need training that cost money too.

Our enemies don't tell us when they are going to strike or how, that takes Intel gathering, maint on aircraft & other highly sophisticated equip. A warship cost a billion dollars for a reason. I'm not against cutting the military budg in half. But that can take years.
