Truth. But we also cannot believe in a broken system's ability to fix itself. It will not. Voting will not fix this.

Money in politics is the cancer underlying all the other cancers; getting money out of politics is the greatest moral challenge of our generation. Nothing is more important than that we push for public funding of federal campaigns. The system as it is is irredeemable.

Voting is how WE fix it. Voting is what gave us the presidents who gave us the conservative Supreme Court justices who gave us the Citizens United decision. Voting was the conduit that made it this bad and voting will be the conduit for fixing it.

No, it won't. Until we reset by giving the tree of liberty its natural manure, it'll be more of the same. This system will not repair itself.
