one thing that's bugging me is that he fired every senior official in Pentagon and had his cronies inside. a few weeks till inauguration and such decisions make me really nervous

I think they're calculated moves- not his calcs of course. Left to his own devices, he'd be snarky+mean. Israel had the guts to assassinate a scientist knowing Trump wouldn't say anything, too soon for Biden to act. More things on the horizon in that vain.
