Money in politics is the cancer underlying all the other cancers; getting money out of politics is the greatest moral challenge of our generation. Nothing is more important than that we push for public funding of federal campaigns. The system as it is is irredeemable.

I wouldn't trust either corporate party with a constitutional convention presently. We could permanently lose the rights that already are being diminished by the disastrous bipartisan "Patriot Act" justfacts.votesmart.org/bill…

There are numerous examples of big money candidates losing. Money means nothing, message is everything.

This is what needs to happen snd exactly why it will never happen. Like putting pigs on a diet.

Make national politics less important and money will flow elsewhere

You're so right. We can't build back better on a corrupt system. I believe it's so grossly corrupt, those in the middle of it, dependent on it, can't be relied on to fix it.

We definitely must find a way!🙏

Agreed. Term limits and campaign finance caps/reform will fix most of the “sickness” that plagues the US. But unfortunately does not look likely to ever change
One word change would fix the whole mess. Amend the U.S. Constitution by adding the word "natural" before the word "person" everywhere the word "person" occurs.

this is exactly why we need national leaders like you to lead the establishment/transformation of a platform/party to start building a non-corp serious movement.

This is recycled, old news now. Why waste time on what everyone knows. You'd be doing the BEST FOR HUMANITY right now with your platform if you spent it trying to free Assange. It'd also be proof of you walking your walk bc Lord knows we know you can talk about the good ol days
