Money in politics is the cancer underlying all the other cancers; getting money out of politics is the greatest moral challenge of our generation. Nothing is more important than that we push for public funding of federal campaigns. The system as it is is irredeemable.

As long as there is an obscene concentration of wealth at the top, money will find its way into politics, its unavoidable. Under a capitalist system money is speech. We need to socialize the means of production before we can have a true democracy.

While I agree with sentiment I am unsure it is doable. The duopoly is fine with things as they are. I think a better plan is: Ranked choice voting Break duopoly Money out of politics.
