What our government is doing - actually, not doing - is infuriating. It is criminal even though it is not against the law; it is a crime against humanity. What part of “People cannot pay rent and do not have enough food to eat” do they not understand??

Unless we extend the eviction moratorium, millions of Americans will become homeless in the middle of winter. Many of them will die. This is not complicated. This is about saving lives in the middle of a pandemic that worsens every day. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

They probably think the people who cannot pay rent and don't have enough food to eat are "suckers and losers". The American system divides people into winners and losers and treats them accordingly. It's cynical and wrong and has to change, but probably won't for a long time. 😐
