The United States has an estimated 7,000 nuclear bombs in our arsenal. Ask yourself sincerely whether or not you think we need all those to protect our safety. Hint: building one nuke costs over $8Billion.

Spot on here - what I don’t understand is when pro-nuclear ‘deterrent’ advocates don’t even support a compromise position partial disarmament. Is 100 nukes (rather than 7,000) not enough of a deterrent?
