Until we address the immoral economic dynamics that allow such absurdities as this to exist, American society will never heal. #WealthTax
Jeff Bezos could give every Amazon employee $105,000 and still be as rich as he was before the pandemic. Instead he's denying paid sick leave to his employees — and has already subjected nearly 20,000 warehouse workers to Covid-19. Demand Congress tax the rich, and shop local.

If he tried to sell that much Amazon stock (to have that actual money) the stock price would likely crash; stock price != liquid cash, such rhetoric is misleading people - which isn't to disagree, there is an immoral imbalance to the system currently, UBI via VAT would help.

The #1 threat to the USA is vast economic inequality. It drives those who vote for people like Trump. If Biden doesn't figure this out a more polished Autocrat like Trump will bring Fascism in 2024 & win. Addressing econ. inequality: single-payer, wages, education costs etc. etc

I disagree..until we address the slaughter of innocent human beings in the name of "choice" we are doomed as a society. The culture of death is growing...very soon it will not be limited to the unborn.

Net worth is calculated by taking shares and multiplying it by the going rate. This is money that has never existed. It’s the perceived value of a company he created, and it’s not like he could even get that much if he actually sold all those shares.
