There is nothing anti-religious about politicians seeking to protect the health of their constituencies by limiting the number of congregants in a closed space during a pandemic; what’s anti-religious is to use God as an excuse for doing something that you know could harm people.

I disagree. Freedom of Religion will always be more important than a pandemic. Let people make decisions for themselves. Rules are made to be broken.

Replying to @theherbanlegend
This has nothing to do with the freedom of religion. The limits were not because of religious expression but because of health concerns, and only for as long as the danger lasted.

hey Marianne...the constitution doesnt become meaningless just because there is a pandemic. learn to respect our constitution and people of faith across this great country!
When huge Catholic churches that hold thousands are only allowed 25 its unfair. Also yes it is part of our religion to hold hands, to lay hands on the sick, to sing, to take communion together, to greet each other with a brotherly kiss. This has gone too far too long. God First.

Freedom of assembly then. Just because some people are scared of virus doesn't mean that everyone has to hide from it. That is what America is all about

Unless folks are being forced into the church against their will, I don't see how this is any of the government's business

I agree but the first amendment is non negotiable “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;” 14th extends it to the states
People want the right to kill themselves

Humans need love, contact and joy. Sharing love is very important to the soul and to life. Suicide is up 200%. What is dangerous? Depression? A broken soul? Government is acting like Nazi's with such prejudice of religion gatherings.
