#Medicare4All, #TuitionFree are seen as middle-of-the-road policies in most advanced societies - ones doing a whole lot better than ours. Calling them "far left" is just a PR strategy on the part of those resisting the power share that's at the heart of a just society.

And quality of those govt run products is terrible.

I assume that’s propaganda you’ve been fed. But visit Europe someday and see what illusions you’ve been sold. We’re no longer the country “making all the great products.” Our trains, infrastructure, schools, health delivery, food supply, so much more is now inferior to others.

I have seen it, and it’s terrible. The “free” college education for instance in Germany, is far inferior to ours. Or closer to home, the VA med care, which is govt run, is an abomination. Free doesn’t equal better.

Plus the tax rate in those countries is insane, to pay for all of this “free” stuff. And thank you, but I have visited Europe many times.

Absolutely, Marianne. There’s a reason people in Canada, the UK, Australia, etc. have never demanded our for-profit system. Why don’t Americans get this? We’re paying far more to have a middleman come between us & our doctors.

The ensuing bit of p.r. nonsense that follows those who attack programs like Medicare-For-All is to say that the quality of the care is poor because it’s facilitated by the government—UTTER NONSENSE‼️...People shouldn’t have to go bankrupt when they get sick in the U.S.‼️
