People having the freedom to worship should not mean the freedom to create super spreader events. And worship is not about the physical house of worship; it’s communion in our hearts with God. You can’t knowingly risk the lives of others and sincerely worship God at the same time

Follow the money. One can practice their religious beliefs anywhere. A super spreader event is not required. The more people they can pack in their "houses of worship", the more potential donations can be realized. The church is also a business.
