You are a little overly optimistic about where Biden is headed in my opinion. Anyway, DuPont and Monsanto will still run the EPA so nothing has fundamentally changed. Mission Accomplished!

A DuPont executive is on the the EPA transition panel, That's a great way to start. His corporate donors well always come first .Obama signed the Monsanto Protection Act in 2013. Biden hasn't even bothered pretending he cares about the environment like Obama did. We will see.

I agree that a former Dupont executive should not be on the transition team, and I know Obama signed the Monsanto protection act. But Biden has indeed talked about the environment as the largest existential crisis we face. Not time yet to be so pessimistic I don’t think.
