A woman on twitter today told me that she used to be a big fan, but that now she realizes I'm "one of them" and should be placed under house arrest. She wasn't kidding.

I am sorry, who are "them"? I wish people were more specific...

In dystopian novels they have characters like this and they seem so exaggerated until real life happens and the crazy is coaxed out of people.

What amazes me is the team that is honest, and accepting and willing to do anything to support each other, isn't the democratic party. I used to be a democrat years ago, but no way. They are willing to unleash their foot soldiers to burn our cities to the ground. Thanks but no.

@marwilliamson I couldn’t be happy that I’m one of them too. A believer in truth, science, compassion, the rule of law, and love. Thank you for your take here. I value you and your point of view.

Marianne, you keep being you, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind. Being spiritual doesn't mean one shouldn't raise their voice and, condemn or be critical when they witness destructive behavior that harms other innocent people.
