Love doesn’t always mean “to make nice.” Taking a stand for justice in an unjust world doesn’t always come across as gentle.

Extremely practical example: you punish your kid, because you love them and want them to do well. Obviously some people go to far, but that's different than going to timeout for stealing your brother's toys.

I think it's great you defined love this way. I sometimes see ppl misinterpreting what you mean when you say love can end wars etc...you don't mean some sort of hallmark card emotion but a powerful force that contains a spectrum of meaning. They're operating on a dif idea of love
