When Jason Johnson tweeted that Sanders had a black voter problem bc he couldn’t break 20 percent, Bernie was at 20%. A few weeks later, he has eclipsed Biden in polls, but Dr. Johnson was still working overtime on cable news to make sure no one noticed. Manufacturing consent.

Sanders has 5 years as a high profile public figure; can't break 20% of black voters. That's a problem. It's no longer about not knowing him, or misinformation. He hasn't done it. You aren't winning in 2020 if you can't get over 20% of the black vote. Young or old doesn't matter
