The only force more powerful than hate is love. The hatred Trump harnessed for political purposes will still exist even when he leaves the WH. The way to overwhelm it is to love people enough that you fundamentally lessen the pain of the economic desperation they are feeling now.

So sorry to even ask for it, but if anyone could donate or just retweet my GoFundMe page that would mean so much to my family 🙏🏼❤️ My husband, our cat and I are facing eviction. Every single retweet helps so much 💔 gofundme.com/f/help-with-ren…

The people harnessing hate are the ones who blame Trump for everything, lie about his motives, manipulate sound bites, and assume the worst about him at every turn. By this metric, you are one of those people who harness hate. The Jesuit have a practice called Examen. Try it.

Yeah right after fours years if nothing but hate.

Here is one way it would manifest: Those politicians who currently impose crippling restrictions on the public, would sacrifice their own salaries until the crisis is over, and would follow the same lockdown rules. Standing WITH, not APART from people, is a powerful gesture.

That's cute...but that doesn't help when that hate is in power & those who align themselves with that power have some form or stakes that favor them instead of those the hate is projected towards. Believe me as a Black #ADOS🇺🇸 man. I've tried. But hate keeps showing its ugliness.
