The only force more powerful than hate is love. The hatred Trump harnessed for political purposes will still exist even when he leaves the WH. The way to overwhelm it is to love people enough that you fundamentally lessen the pain of the economic desperation they are feeling now.

Do you agree that Bible stories like Cain&Abel are allegories? Isn't this telling us there are essentially 2 kinds of people good/evil or creating/destroying? What happened to Cain? Banished. Evil spelled backwards is? Live. Who can you change? You.

Ever tried loving a narcissist? Pathological people get pleasure from other's suffering esp if they cause it. People who love them get used up and discarded. There is never a happy ending for the victims. The narc moves on to greener pastures.

Trump has been a force of good for America and the rest of the world. He is a lion taking on the jackals of political corruption for the last 100 years.

History will show that there has been more hate created coming from the nonTrump side. This has been done to intimidate, and gain back power. Only to return to a certain status quo, with only an illusion of “progress.”Too many good people have fallen for it.✌️

@marwilliamson that’s not true! Hate and Love are equal in the power, just complete opposites!

But not love so blindly that you and forces for good get defeated politically and become prisoners of the evildoers.

I read it differently. I see fear from both sides of the spectrum. On the left there is fear that a Nationalist Empire will engulf democracy, and on the right there is fear that a Communist Dictatorship will consume us all. It all culminates to irrational hatred. Trump used that.

I agree totally that fear is a big part of what politicians do for a living, they need it to push agendas. Most argue that it's best for everyone to accept. Trump doesn't seek to ease tensions with people who disagree with him, that's a pretty big difference in a leadership role.

Well, I think you're right. I don't know that Biden is going to fix anything. I'm not a fan of politicians, in general. Trump, in my opinion, is more dangerous than most of them because he doesn't just demonize other politicians in his speech, he demonizes real people.
It depends who you're talking to, I'm only talking about one person. I try not to make blanket assumptions about any group of people.
