Republicans gained power because they responded to people’s rage. Democrats lost power because they stopped responding to people’s pain. Biden will only have a short time to ease people’s pain enough to keep them from going back to the ones who understand their rage.

Democrats are not in fear of our rage. They know easily how to subvert it and redirect it elsewhere. Nothing we do or say is going to matter. The idea of hope infuriates me. Your hopeful tweets are maddening, I'm almost in tears right now.
