I appreciate Biden’s even tone during the campaign and the mature, non-chaotic transition so far. But he needs to come out of the gate January 20 with bold and blazing plans to rescue the tens of millions of Americans today who are seething with legitimate rage.

He promised "Nothing will fundamentally change" and he won, so obviously he's going to follow through on that

Absolutely. We know where “let them eat cake” gets us.

Maybe how bold and blazing his plans are will depend on whether or not Dems take over the Senate. Georgia is everything.

We're not seething. We're hungry. And unemployed. And have no or not enough healthcare. Seething sounds like something you do over brunch.

Campaign? He campaigned?

That's just not who he is and never has been. He only gets energized by attacking victims of sexual harrasment, passing draconian crime bills, and trying to defund social security. Not sure why some leftists think this man will completely change out of nowhere.

I agree, however, knowing his legislative history and that he's abandoned talking about expanding the ACA, it's not going to happen. I hope I'm wrong.

It's a nice sentiment but look at who you are talking about, ma'am. He doesn't care and we're basically in for business as usual. Well, business before the troll took office, with faux populism.

His 4 years is going to be just trying to undo the damage that trump has caused. If we want real change, we have to be willing to give up the comfort of the status quo and demand it. Remember, many americans think things are fine just the way they are. Thank you very much.
