Right out of the gate Biden should be less Obama and more FDR. Where Obama tried to work with the other side, FDR said “I welcome their hatred.” You won the presidency @JoeBiden, now use the power. We support you!#CancelStudentDebt, provide #medicare4all & give #DirectCashRelief.

Dream On. Expect Joe Biden to be Joe Biden: arrogant, sexist, racist, liar, tool of Wall Street and, above all, Corporatist and all around DINO. This is what "lesser evil" looks like. And in 2 years the "Centrist" Dems will lose the House and in 4 years we will have Trump 2.0!

Right out of the gate, Biden will be Biden. Your words won't change the devastating reality of our oligarch-owned politicians.

Actually that speech was 4 years into FDR’s presidency, 1936. Most New Deal legislation came 32-36, when he worked for broad appeal. That speech was an experiment in going hard left that failed. FDR did best with broad coalitions of left and center right.

right. I am hoping as Biden is nearing the end of his life, he will try to make a big difference in people's lives and be more FDR instead of being another Obama.

100% if hes going to be 1/10th of FDR we have to be the flame on his ass and no relief.

I'm blue all the way, but there's a stark difference between the elections of FDR & Biden. FDR's victory was a landslide at the exec & congressional branches. Biden had a solid win for himself but not a landslide & we don't have majorities in both houses of Congress.

His Cabinet picks make it crystal clear that this is going to be Obama 2.0 at best.
