The issue isn’t capitalism vs socialism, so much is conscience and ethics versus soulless sociopathy. Without a change in consciousness either one becomes corrupt.

"Exploiting some people for capitalism just as a treat." This is the wrong take sis. Capitalism can not be squared with justice and liberation for all people

Ya, and the change comes from accepting the other, but no one can do that without accepting themselves. Only then do we see ourselves in everyone’s eyes, right??!❤️

Basic Civics says; Capitalism-Socialism=Fascism, Socialism-Capitalism=Communism, Capitalism +Socialism =Democracy. Divide &Conquer works. Get them to hate/blame the other while those in power steal the wealth/freedoms. Ignorance perpetuated by the media & leaders 4 their gain

Capitalism and socialism can work well together. It's when capitalism goes corporate and priorities change to maximizing shareholder profits is when things turn to shit.

Uh... no. The ethical functioning of a system is a result of how that system distributes power, not the moral character of those that hold the power. You can make the same argument for Monarchy vs Democracy. "We don't need to change the system, we just need more moral kings!"

I agree, but I don't see how you change people's consciousness on a mass scale, especially people who don't want to change.

give me "corrupt" socialism over "ethical" capitalism any day

Theoretically capitalism could be compassionate...in an enlightened society. But that’s not where we live.
